Se necesitan 20 millones de jeringas descartables, pero en el país no hay ninguna fábrica operando. La última cerró en el 2018, tras atravesar una grave situación por las políticas de Gobierno anterior.
A la espera de las vacunas contra el coronavirus que se encuentran ya en fase 3, el Gobierno argentino ya se prepara para lo que será la campaña de vacunación en todo el país. Para ello, se aprobó una contratación por emergencia para comprar 20 millones de jeringas descartables. Algo que podría haberse evitado si durante el gobierno de Macri no se hubiesen cerrado las fábricas de este tipo de insumos.
Según explicó el ex gerente de la empresa Enrique Lisjak al periodista Mauro Fulco en C5N, en ese entonces había llegado la competencia china con productos al 45 por ciento del valor que cuesta fabricarlos en Argentina y por una cantidad equivalente a lo que consume el país durante dos años. Además, señaló que las tarifas se las aumentaron un 600%. «El 0,5 del costo del producto pasó a ser 3%», aseguró.
Lisjak aseguró que si la fábrica no hubiera cerrado podrían llegar con la producción de jeringas que se necesitan para la inmunización de la población contra el coronavirus. «En 2 ó 3 meses hubiéramos producido 20 millones de vacunas», dijo.
